Priorities of Austin Economic Development Corp. explained

The Austin Economic Development Corp. was created last year to further a wide range of city efforts, from supporting the arts to promoting economic development. Now we have more details on where they're rolling up their sleeves and getting to work. One of the first priorities is a long-anticipated project to transform the south shore of Lady Bird Lake — with skyscrapers possible south of the Central Business District. Another idea: City Hall getting into the music venue business.
