Womply Achieves Level One Compliance With the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard

Womply, the leader in front office software for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), is certified as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 compliant, the highest industry rating a business can attain for payment data security.

The Level 1 compliance designation follows an independent audit conducted by PSC, a PCI-certified Qualified Security Assessor Company (QSAC). In summarizing its onsite assessments, the PSC determined that Womply "has demonstrated full compliance with the PCI DSS."

The PCI DSS standards were created to ensure the security of credit card transactions and protect cardholders against fraud and misuse of private, personal information. The standards were designed and are maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council, whose founding members are American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard, and Visa Inc.
