Freelancers can make more than full-time tech workers in S.F., new report finds

Freelance tech workers could actually rake in more money than full-time workers in the Bay Area as more people across the country turn to flexible work. Contract workers make $103 per hour, or some $80,000 more per year, than full-time software engineers in San Francisco, according to new data from tech job-matching site Hired.
