The
Guardian reported that Walter Energy Inc. (NYSE: WLT) may receive buyout
offers from BHP Billiton Ltd. (NYSE: BHP) or Rio Tinto (NYSE: RIO). Shares of Walter Energy climbed 27 cents to close at $2.35 while BHP stock edged up 33 cents to close at $58.78. Rio Tinto stock added 36 cents to close at $48.99.
