iShares Announces Index Change to Two iShares Fixed Income ETFs

iShares announced today that the iShares Core Short-Term U.S. Bond ETF (NYSEArca: ISTB) and the iShares Core Long-Term U.S. Bond ETF (NYSEArca: ILTB) will change indices effective June 3, 2014. ISTB’s new index will be the Barclays US 1-5yr Universal Index and ILTB’s new index will be Barclays US 10-yr Universal Index. The changes are being implemented in order to expand the funds’ diversification.
