PRLog - Mar. 12, 2014 - HAMPSTEAD, Md. -- "Abraham Lincoln is back in the oval office!"

The new screenplay, FLASHBACK, a science-fiction/adventure thriller in the same vein as National Treasure, has been released and is now ready for production. The script/film project is based on the novel of the same name, which was published by Old Line Publishing in 2012.

The script/film project is based on the book written by Peter Mattes. “FLASHBACK” is a historical science fiction drama that blurs the line between fact and fiction. It is a story where the connections between modern day occurrences are tied with its historical counterpart and its future representation. The story begins in 1876 when two men attempt to steal the body of President Abraham Lincoln. Although it was reported that their attempt failed, in actuality, they were successful. Through several generations the stolen body of the President is kept a secret. Alin Hanks (adopted and unaware that his name Alin stands for Abraham Lincoln) discovers that he is an exact twin of the former President. Suffering from memory loss and flashes of memory that don’t appear to be his own, an aging retired genetic engineer reveals the secrets of Alin’s past. It is discovered that Alin has the exact same DNA as Lincoln and the flashback memories are those of Lincoln himself. Alin, himself, in modern day, becomes President and through a series of events it’s revealed to a stunned nation and the world, his true origin. This historical science fiction novel is reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies and television thrillers of the supernatural and unexplainable. A remarkable tale which will grip the viewer from beginning to end.

This film script is available upon request from Old Line Publishing. Old Line Publishing books are available from most major online book retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Powell’s, Books-A-Million, and others.
