Jake joined Dowling & Yahnke in 2006. During his eight years, Jake has excelled in various positions including as a Client Service Specialist and an Assistant Portfolio Manager. Jake has developed extensive knowledge and leadership in the key aspects of investment management, financial planning, and client servicing. Additionally, Jake embodies the Firm’s ongoing dedication to superior academic and industry expertise having become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certificant. Jake plays an integral role in the Firm’s Portfolio Management and Analytics Group, Investment Committee, and Culture Committee.

Jake grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to San Diego over ten years ago. He lives in Poway with his wife and two children.
