PRLog - May 28, 2013 - SAN FRANCISCO -- Today, Give2Asia, a US-based social enterprise that serves as a catalyst for philanthropic investment in Asia, announces three new fiscal sponsor partnerships to support the ability of local charitable groups in Afghanistan and Thailand to fundraise in the United States.

Give2Asia enters into fiscal sponsor partnerships with Asia-based charitable groups after conducting a rigorous due diligence review of the organization, its programs and management team.

LDF Doc Film Fund

The Local Development Foundation and its operational body, The Local Development Institute, aim to articulate the concerns of communities of farmers in ASEAN whose food supply and livelihood are at risk due to climate change through a documentary film. The documentary film will reframe the LDI mission into a carefully crafted cinematic perspective that is designed to enhance the effectiveness of NGOs and community development programs for the poor. US-based supporters can now donate to the project at http://give2asia.org/LDFdoc.

Aid Afghanistan for Education

Aid Afghanistan for Education (AAE) provides education for 3000 female and 104 male students across 9 provinces. AAE focuses on marginalized Afghans who were deprived of education during the years of war or don’t have access to formal education now due to early marriage, age, or legal status. AAE works closely with the Ministry of Education to ensure the students receive their high school diploma upon graduation. US-based supporters can now donate to the project at http://give2asia.org/AAE.

Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Support for Afghanistan

Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Support for Afghanistan (PARSA) is an NGO working directly with the disadvantaged people of Afghanistan. Grassroots support has allowed PARSA to be highly creative in program development. PARSA has launched a nationwide rebirth of the Afghan Scouts program, instituted the Healthy Afghan Child program into the national orphanage system, and created a “fair trade” model of marketing for Afghan women’s businesses called “Trade Afghan”. PARSA programs resonate with and support Afghan communities of today, as they heal and take ownership of their future. US-based supporters can now donate to the project at http://give2asia.org/PARSA.
