Thursday’s ETF Chart To Watch: Barclays 20 Year Treasury Bond Fund (TLT)

Investors were a bit anxious to jump into the equity markets on Wednesday ahead of the U.S. GDP report, while Oracle’s disappointing earnings didn’t do much in the way of restoring confidence. The European Central Bank laid out a $641 billion three-year loan program for the regions banks, in an effort to ensure liquidity and stability in the financially fragile currency bloc. Gold futures drifted sideways as equity indexes remained fairly flat, settling near $1,615 an ounce. Crude oil on the other hand soared higher amidst the uncertainty, finishing the day just above $99 a barrel. Investors will turn their attention to Wall Street tomorrow as the latest U.S. GDP report is released.
