IMHO Reviews released an article with the best deals during this Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Skillshare is one of the platforms featured on the list. For four days, from November 25 to November 28, Skillshare is offering 50% off an annual subscription.
Skillshare is an online learning platform that was founded in 2010 in New York. It has over 30,000 classes divided into three categories: Create, Build, and Thrive. The classes are offered on a variety of topics such as Animation, Film & Video, Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Wed Development, Business Analytics, Freelance & Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Productivity, and more.
Skillshare is a subscription-based service. The prices are $32 per month and $168 per year. This year, for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Skillshare is offering its annual membership at a 50% discount for $84 per year. Skillshare membership includes unlimited access to all classes on the platform. According to the IMHO Reviews article, Skillshare also offers thousands of free classes and a 30-day free trial.
"Skillshare is one of the best online learning platforms today. It has a large library and courses on practically any topic. You can learn online or offline, anytime and anywhere, and at your own pace. We are very excited about the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal because that means that more people will be able to become a part of Skillshare's ever-growing community," said the owner of IMHO Reviews, Vitaliy Lano.
Skillshare platform has seen a lot of updates recently. The company launched a new class called "Teach on Skillshare: Plan, Publish, and Promote on Engaging Class" created by Tiffany Chow and successful Skillshare teachers such as Amelie Satzger, Fred Trevino, Maggie Stara, Silvia Ospina, and others. Skillshare allows anyone to teach a class on the platform and this course is designed for those people who want to learn how to do it the right way. The class is suited for both new and more experienced teachers. The topics discussed in the course include choosing a topic and crafting a project for a class, strategies for filming and editing a class, tips for class promotion, finding continued success on Skillshare, and more.
In 2022, Skillshare also partnered with LinkedIn to help businesses provide their employees with online learning opportunities. Skillshare's integration with LinkedIn Learning Hub gives users the opportunity to get both platforms' content from a central location and customize the experience with special tools like curated learning paths. The LinkedIn Learning Hub offers over 8,000 of Skillshare's creative classes and 17,600 of LinkedIn Learning's business, technical and creative courses. It is required to have active subscriptions for both platforms in order to watch Skillshare's classes on LinkedIn Learning Hub.
In other news, this year Skillshare announced that their website and app have been fully translated and are now available in four more languages, in addition to English - Portuguese, Spanish, French, and German. The classes now have subtitles in all four languages.
