Jelly Bean Rubber Mulch, a leader in non-toxic playground surfacing, today announced a banner year in which more product has sold than ever before.
“In 2025 we sold the most rubber we’ve ever moved in a 12 month period,” explains Jelly Bean Co-Founder Nic Campesi.
In addition to the robust sales growth, the company announced strong early year results in 2026 that may challenge availability of its virgin rubber playground mulch to schools, daycares, churches, and parks as the season ramps up.
“Sales have been strong. We are projecting internally to massively increase sales again this year, and potentially sell out of product before the peak season is over,” notes Campesi.
Sales growth is attributed to greater attention paid by parents, teachers and administrators of schools on product cost, safety and longevity.
“Jelly Bean really is a slot product when it comes to school playground surfacing, valued above dirty tires and moldy wood mulch, and much more affordable than unitary solutions like pour-in-place rubber,” notes Campesi.
Swing and Slide Mats Available For Immediate Shipment
In addition to sales growth from the core Jelly Bean Rubber Mulch safety surface, swing and slide mats are now on offer nationwide to end users and playground equipment dealers in wholesale quantities. Jelly Bean Rubber Mulch completed a pilot program in developing, testing, and distributing non-toxic heavy duty swing and slide mats in the past 24 months.
“Our tests have shown these mats to stand up better than any other, and the fact they’re made out of non-toxic medical-grade rubber makes school facilities managers comfortable rolling them out across their network,” Campesi shares.
