The Wine Group Completes Acquisition of Several Wine Brands and Production Facilities from Constellation Brands

Global Wine Producer Successfully Closes Acquisition, Expanding its Operational Capabilities and Vast Wine Portfolio with New Premium and Ultra-Premium Brands

The Wine Group LLC (TWG), one of the world’s foremost producers of award-winning wines, announced today that it has successfully closed its acquisition of several popular, premium and ultra-premium wine brands from Constellation Brands, Inc.: Cook’s, J. Rogét, Meiomi, Robert Mondavi Private Selection, SIMI, and Woodbridge.

The acquisition also brings TWG three (3) new facilities and approximately 6,600 owned and leased vineyard acres throughout California. The facilities include production sites in Lodi, CA and Monterey County, CA, as well as the SIMI winery in Healdsburg, CA. Approximately 500 employees who work at these sites and vineyards have now joined the TWG team.
