The Women MAKE Awards are part of the larger Women MAKE America Initiative, which is committed to increasing women’s representation in manufacturing. The awards honor exceptional women at all levels of the manufacturing industry — from the factory floor to the C-suite — who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their careers. The initiative aims to increase innovation through research, skill development, networking, mentorship and recognition of role models who can inspire the next generation and drive the industry forward.

The annual Women MAKE Awards honor women who represent the past, present and future of women manufacturers. Among them is Cornerstone Building Brands’ Pardue, a proven industry leader selected for her work to support business partners while developing teams through coaching, skill development and collaboration.

“Suzanne is an exceptional leader and role model who drives results that make a real difference for our business, our customers and our communities,” said Rose Lee, President and CEO of Cornerstone Building Brands. "Her commitment to innovation and continuous improvement helps us create sustainable solutions. I’m proud to have such a strategic, collaborative and trusted leader on our team.”

About Our Honoree

With more than 20 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing, Pardue began her career as a certified professional accountant (CPA) before transitioning into the manufacturing sector. Her passion for understanding how products are made, combined with her background in auditing and manufacturing experience led her to pursue finance and supply chain management in the building products industry. Since joining Cornerstone Building Brands in 2022, Pardue has established best-in-class sourcing practices, category management and supplier performance. A servant leader and strategic thinker, she is deeply committed to exemplifying Cornerstone Building Brands’ core values of safety, integrity and inclusion. She empowers her teams by encouraging them to explore different ways to apply their skills and learn from others — a strategy she has applied in her own career.

“I am empowered by other business leaders who challenge the status quo and innovate with purpose,” said Pardue. “Seeing the success of others has inspired me to believe in my own potential, take risks and lead with empathy and integrity. I value being able to pay it forward to other leaders.”

Pardue uses her leadership skills and experience beyond her core management role at Cornerstone Building Brands. An active participant in her community, she has volunteered as a member of parent-teacher organizations and youth sports leagues, as well as supported school events. She is also a member of the Institute of Supply Chain Management and serves as a mentor, helping mentees within and outside of Cornerstone Building Brands develop skills and advance in their careers.

Pardue will be one of 130 women recognized at the annual Women MAKE Awards Gala in Washington, D.C. on April 24, 2025. She is the sixth honoree from Cornerstone Building Brands since 2020. To date, the program has honored approximately 1,700 women who are having a positive impact on their companies and communities.

Cornerstone Building Brands is a strong partner and supporter of the work of the National Association of Manufacturers and its workforce development and education partner, the MI. President and CEO Rose Lee previously served on the NAM Board of Directors and served as chair of the 2023 Women MAKE Awards.
