NIC+ZOE Announces Senior Leadership Changes, Promoting Two From Within

NIC+ZOE, the Boston-based women's clothing brand, is solidifying its leadership. They are promoting current President Avra Myers to CEO and offering her a seat on the board. Additionally, they are promoting Vice President of Wholesale Taal Rachamimov to Executive Vice President of Sales. The decision to promote from within speaks to the confidence in the brand’s current direction and the promise of continued growth.

Avra Myers joined NIC+ZOE as Chief Merchant in 2019 before assuming the role of President in 2021. Her leadership made an instant impact, and she has overseen a surge in the core brand’s growth and the launch of three new collections: NZT, NZ Active, and NZ Denim, focusing on T-shirts, activewear, and denim respectively.

Myers was passionate about her expanded role, “My time at NIC+ZOE has been a career highlight, and I’m delighted to keep it going as the company’s next CEO. I look forward to repaying the brand’s faith in me and working with our talented team on our next chapter.”

Myers has more than thirty years of industry experience. Before joining NIC+ZOE, she co-founded the iconic clothing brand, Club Monaco, where she worked as Vice President of Merchandising and New Business Development for twenty-three years.

Another core member of company leadership, Taal Rachamimov has also been promoted, moving from Vice President of Wholesale to Executive Vice President of Sales. The move assures new levels of integration between core channels of the company’s business: wholesale and direct-to-consumer.

Taal Rachamimov was optimistic about her role. “NIC+ZOE is at a pivotal point right now. I am excited to help us capitalize on brand and product strength and expand our reach. Bringing the retail and wholesale channels closer together helps us leverage best practices from each area and become a true omni-channel brand.”

Rachamimov has guided NIC+ZOE’s wholesale business for more than ten years. Before she came to NIC+ZOE, Rachamimov had a series of positions in the industry’s premium wholesale space with specialty brands and at industry icons. She started her career at Donna Karan International.

About NIC+ZOE: Founded in 2006 by expert knitwear designer Dorian Lightbown, NIC+ZOE is committed to designing premium, high-quality clothing that offers elevated style without sacrificing comfort.
