Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On June 15, 2005 Assurant, Inc. (“Assurant”) received a subpoena from the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York requesting documents relating to the use of finite risk insurance and related products. Assurant intends to fully cooperate.
