Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On November 1, 2004, The Chubb Corporation (Chubb) received an Investigative Demand from the State of Ohio Office of the Attorney General as part of the Ohio Attorney General’s investigation into possible violations of the antitrust laws. Chubb intends to cooperate fully with the inquiry.
