ISRAEL LTD. ANNOUNCES DISMISSAL OF A PURPORTED CLASS
ACTION
NETANYA,
Israel, May 6, 2010 – Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (the "Company") announced
today that the Israeli Supreme Court dismissed an appeal regarding the dismissal
of a purported class action filed against the Company (and another cellular

connection with the Company's incoming call tariff to subscribers of other
operators when calling the Company's subscribers during the period before the
regulation of interconnect fees. The dismissal of the appeal followed its
withdrawal by the appellants at the recommendation of the Supreme Court. Had the
lawsuit been certified as a class action, the amount claimed from Cellcom was
estimated by the plaintiffs to be NIS 1.6 billion.
