Item 5.02.    Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
 
On August 2, 2010, Emilia Fabricant resigned her employment with Destination Maternity Corporation (the "Company"), effective at the close of business on August 3, 2010. Ms. Fabricant had joined the Company as President effective May 24, 2010.

On August 2, 2010, the Board of Directors of the Company appointed Edward M. Krell, the current Chief Executive Officer of the Company, to the additional office of President to succeed Ms. Fabricant, effective at the close of business on August 3, 2010.

The Company issued a press release announcing the resignation of Ms. Fabricant and the appointment of Mr. Krell, a copy of which is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
