Postponement of earnings release and conference call

(São Paulo, May 11, 2009) - Aracruz Celulose S.A. (NYSE: ARA) hereby announces that it will postpone the first quarter earnings release and conference call, previously scheduled for May 12th.

The company will set a new date for the earnings release event, which will be informed to the market in the next few days.
